Entrance to VDNH
They approached the entrance to the VDNH complex, but the door was also closed.
“It’s locked again, so how can I open it?” Ryder asked, looking around, trying to find a way to enter.
“The plan was to make the opening of these doors a symbolic place.” - Khraz explained.
- Symbolic? In my opinion? - asked Ryder. “The system of mirrors should focus the streams of light on the model of our solar system, which you see high above the entrance,” Hraz explained.
The puppies looked up, where a golden model of the solar system hung above the entrance.
Rider began to use the glove's telekinesis to move the desired device as far as possible, after which the mirror rose.
"There is one."
Starting from the left, the device returned to its original position.
"The left one doesn't work."
“Something has jammed the lifting mechanism and is preventing the mirror from rising!” - said Khraz.
“Well, we need to get there.” Puppies, stay here. - said Ryder. He again began to move the left device as far as possible so that the hatch opened, from which the mirror should rise.
Ryder quickly went down to where the mirror was until the hatch closed. Entering through the door, Ryder found himself in an underground corridor where robots, garbage, boxes and magnetic devices were lying around.
- Once, where am I? Ryder asked as he walked down the hallway towards the room where there was a door at the top.
“This underground level has a magnetic damping system. All the rooms here are filled with moving units of electromagnets.” - Khraz explained. Ryder looked at the ceiling, where he saw moving magnets, stood on the moving one and released a discharge of current into the magnets, causing the magnetic fields to reverse and the moving floor to rise to the level of the door, allowing Ryder to enter the slide with moving walls.
“Comrade Ryder, have you already entered the VDNKh complex?” - Stockhausen asked through his glove.
"Partially."
"What does it mean?" - asked Stockhausen. Ryder growled slightly as he advanced further.
“I’m in the magnetic depreciation sector, looking for a way to open the entrance to VDNKh! Can you open the door for me?
“I don’t have such skills, this is your competence...” said Stockhausen, without switching off. Ryder just sighed as he moved along the lower walls.
But what got Ryder most excited was all the hype about the trials. Why this commission two days before the launch of the Collective? And what was this woman’s voice that he heard in Vavilov?
“Hraz! Why did Comrade Molotov take up arms against Academician Sechenov? Why this commission two days before the launch of “Collective”? After all, everything is already ready!
“Exactly, because everything is already ready!”
“What do you mean?! Do you want to say that Molotov and his commission are in a hurry to take away the fruits of his labors from Academician Sechenov two days before the launch?” Rider asked, entering another room.
“Absolutely true. This failure due to Petrov’s fault is an excellent reason to blame Academician Sechenov for his inability to manage enterprise 3826. And, consequently, the entire polymerization process of the USSR.”
“But what does Academician Sechenov have to do with it? This is all the work of Petrov, is it because of him that all this haso appeared?” said Ryder, not understanding why this is Sechenov’s fault, after all, it was all because of Petrov?
"I'm afraid Comrade Molotov does not care about the number of victims. However, neither does Comrade Sechenov."
“What?! But Comrade Sechenov wants to stop this whole nightmare!” - said Ryder, not believing Khraz’s words.
“It would be more correct to say that you are the Paw Patrol, you want to stop this whole nightmare!”
“But Comrade Sechenov sent us!” - said Ryder.
I do not argue. But for what purpose exactly? Let's assess the situation soberly, Comrade Ryder: it is beneficial for both Comrade Molotov and Comrade Sechenov that this bloody failure does not spread beyond the boundaries of Enterprise 3826 and becomes known to the whole world."
“Because you can’t prove to the world that a handful of traitors are to blame for everything! The world will decide that Soviet robots are dangerous, but they are not!” said the rider, apparently understanding what Khraz meant.
“And here again I agree with you, Comrade Rider! However, what follows from this? It follows from this that Comrade Molotov and Comrade Sechenov should be equally interested in ensuring that this whole nightmare ends as soon as possible. Isn’t it?”
"So? So what?"
“And the fact that instead we are the most ordinary struggle for power! Academician Sechenov, instead of turning to the government and sending troops into the territory of Enterprise 3826, who will destroy aggressive robots or detain Petrov, or take other effective actions, is doing everything to , hide the tragedy for everyone, including the government."
The rider went further, moving the lifting floor and walls for himself to get further.
“You know, Comrade Ryder, there’s one thing I can’t understand?!”
“And what about Khraz?” asked Ryder.
“And the fact that instead of Academician Sechenov sending troops here, he sent you.”
“Well, what’s wrong with this, it’s not the first time for us,” Ryder answered.
“Is this your first time fighting aggressive robots? Comrade Ryder, you and your puppies are looking for children, and you shouldn’t actually be here!”
“Calm down, the puppies and I will come to the rescue, no matter what.
But still, you are a ten-year-old boy, are you really ready to give your life for all this?”
"For the sake of the lives of innocent people - yes!" - Ryder answered.
"Innocent? You understand that even if you save many lives and give yours, no one will remember you, they will not care about you, even despite everything you have done, they will hate you for not saving those who died at the hands of robots, and they will blame you for it!"
“Still, I’m ready to save everyone, even real scum, who doesn’t appreciate my efforts. Everyone closed the topic!” - Ryder said seriously, having solved the puzzle, and having reached the mirror, he and the mirror climbed up.
“Ryder, how are you?” Chase asked.
“It’s okay, Chase. Let’s go, the entrance is already open,” said Ryder. The mirrors focused the sun’s rays onto the model of the solar system, opening the door.
“Have you already penetrated VDNH, Comrade Ryder? The Condor platform with the government commission has already taken off from Moscow! They will be here soon!” Stockhausn asked through his gloves.
“Everything is fine, we are already in the complex, we will make it in time!” - said Ryder, having passed out and entered the complex.
